The corporate world as well as private consumers need an efficient and cost-effective way to store and deliver their data .The Xi3 Corporation has developed a great solution for this. They went back to the drawing board when they designed the Z3RO Pro Computer, a computer like no other priced at a reasonable $399. With the X13 Computer Architecture, they developed a Computer so tiny that it can fit in your hand. But don’t be fooled by the size, this mighty little machine is fueled with a powerful solid state dual-core x86-based processor running at 1.65GHz, with 4GB of DDR3 RAM.

The Z3RO Pro Computer gives you all the perks of a PC in a tiny package. The little and streamline designed chassis makes it easy to store and attach to any surface. The SSD’s fit in Z3RO Pro Computer in place of a hard drive. It can can support two high resolution monitors at the same time with no glitches. The amazing thing about the Z3RO Pro Computer is with the SSDs there are virtually no moving mechanical parts, setting it apart from apart from the standard computers that use spinning disks and movable read/write heads. The Z3RO Pro Computer has less of a chance of breaking, runs quietly, transfers data faster, and has less lag time between tasks.

The new Xi3 new palm sized computers are going to change the game. These little machines utilize solid-state storage, and Xi3 offers affordable options, that leave a smaller carbon footprint than the larger and less efficient computers. They are the best solution for you when it comes to efficiency and storage.

The new wave of the future is solid state drives. With the growing need for more storage space, private consumers and corporations alike want an efficient and cost effective way to store and deliver their data. For those of you who are not familiar with SSD’s , SSD stands for solid-state drive and is a data storage device using integrated circuit assemblies as memory to store data tirelessly. SSD technology uses electronic interfaces compatible with traditional block input/output (I/O) hard disk drives. The amazing thing about SSDs is that they have no moving mechanical parts, this is what sets them apart from the standard hard drive disks or floppy disks electromechanical magnetic disks that work with spinning disks and movable read/write heads. SSD’s have less of a chance of breaking, run quietly, transfer data faster, and have less lag time between tasks.

SSD’s look a lot like traditional hard drive’s allowing them to fit in a notebook or desktop computer where the hard drive usually sits. This design is to allow the SSD drive to put in a notebook or desktop computer in place of a hard drive. The majority of all the latest electronics are developed around semiconductors and chips. When using a SSD, the main storage conduit is through semiconductors instead of through a magnetic media such like a hard drive. While this kind of storage has been around for quite some time in flash memory drives that plug into the USB port, the SSD lives inside of the computer and takes the place of the traditional hard drive.

Using SSD technology in new palm sized computers is going to change the game. These little machines utilize solid-state storage, are now available in more affordable options, and leave a smaller carbon footprint than the larger and less efficient computers. The new technology gives you the power of a large computer squeezed into a tiny chassis that fits in the palm of your hand! This mighty little machine is fueled with a powerful solid-state dual-core x86-based processor running at 1.65GHz, with 4GB of DDR3 RAM.

The most important benefit of SSD’s is their strength, Hard drive platters are extremely fragile and delicate. The slightest shaking motion from dropping it can cause the drive to be useless and ultimately cause you to lose all your data. The SSD store all your important data in memory chips, it will not get damaged from any type of impact because there are fewer moving parts. With the quicker boot-up time, faster file searches, efficient app start-ups, and less lag time and power usage, Solid State Drives (SSD) are the only choice for you.

On April 24th, 2012 Google changed the search engine world as we know it with their “Penguin” update. Google stated to punishing websites that were doing what all of us had been doing for years; adding multiple SEO Optimized links to our sites. If they were what Google considered poor quality links or they felt there were too many of them they penalized the site owners. Now, bad links could be the end of you and cause a substantial drop in your rankings. Since it is very hard to remove the links once they are built in the sites, the Penguin update made it virtually impossible to fix your site after they issued the penalties. The Penguin update created a new problem, linkspam. Poor quality links went from just being bothersome to a way for Google to penalize your site by lowering your ranking. This prompted spammers to deliberately place bad links on sites and refuse to take them down, some webmasters even said they were being blackmailed by these spammers be being asked to be paid to remove the poor quality links.

Linkspam

In response to this linkspam problem, On October 16th, 2012. Google announced that they were launching the Disavow Links Tool in Google Webmaster Tools. With this tool Webmasters now have the power to “disavow” low quality links that could be lowering their rankings in search engines. They will also be able to upload a list of URLS and domains on the condition that they will be removed from the ranking algorithms within weeks.

The Pros and Cons of Disavow Links

There are both pros and cons to this new tool. If you have been attacked by spammers and cannot remove all the bad links from your site you can use the Link Disavow Tool and delete every one of them easily. This is a bonus for the numerous website owners who have been hit by the Penguin Update and but have not been affected by the penalties yet, they can use this new tool to recover.

The main con to the Link Disavow Tool is by instilling the webmasters with the power to report bad links they also have the power to detect spam. Millions of webmasters will now submit what they believe is spam. Google will in turn use these links in its algorithm to penalize the sites they are reporting as well as any other sites that are linked to these sites. This could be catastrophic for any sites that utilize linkbacks like blog comments, forums, Web 2.0 sites, article directories, website directories, low quality blogs with no human approval system, and social bookmarking accounts. All of these site could potentially get penalized and lose their ranking completely! And to make matters worse, the site that is penalized can cause any sites that is links out to to be penalized as well. It is like a contagion that can continue to poison all the sites it touches.

Many people have complained that the Penguin update gave SEO professionals the power to attack their competitors websites and create bad links to ultimately lower their ranking.

Although the Link Disavow Tool only gives you the power to report links that point back to your site with the Webmaster Tools, it will also give competing industry professionals the opportunity to build links from the same origins as their competitors and then report them as bad links so they will be penalized. It is not a solution to the linkspam problem just a new way for highly competitive business owners to take each other down.

What’s in This For Google?

Google has been clear in letting everyone know that Disavow Links is not a tool that everyone needs and it should be used with caution. That being said, you may wonder what is in all this for Google? And how do you know the difference between a good and a bad link? Google’s goal is that links will support your site and give it relevance. Just as the number of notable sources you site in a scholarly paper give the paper relevance, good links give your site merit.

Good Links Vs. Bad Links:

Good links are approved by a real person, not an automated system.

Bad links are automatically generated through software tools and no humans are involved

What do You Do Now?

If you are a website owner there are a few precautionary measures you need to take to avoid penalities:

Remove any type of link-exchange system from your website

If you take part in ANY kind of poor quality linking system STOP RIGHT NOW!

If you have been penalized by Penguin and don’t know how to come back from it, you may benefit from Google’s Disavow Link Tool. It can help you remove the bad links.

Game Changer

The first big game-changer in the SEO game was the Penguin update, now. Google’s new Disavow Links Tool has changed the SEO game once again, and nothing will ever be the same. Now it will be virtually impossible to create automated linkbacks. While this new tools has its pros and cons we must remember it is not for everyone, and we can only hope that it will be used for good and not to get a leg up on the competition.

Just when you thought you figured out the perfect formula to increase your ranking in the search engines they up and change the rules! The rules are changing so fast it is virtually impossible to keep up. What had been the main game changer? Social media sites like Facebook, Linkedin, Tumblr, Twitter with all their backlinks are influencing the organic search results.

If you underestimated the power social media has on your business, you need to reevaluate your thinking. Sources at eMarketer say that social media marketing will far surpass good old fashioned search engine optimization in 2013. Internet marketing specialists and public relations professionals are really paying close attention to the way social media influences the search engine results and how it can be the difference between success and failure for business. Before Facebook’s total world domination, online recognition came from organic searches that was a result of the structure if a site, meta tags, content, directory link submissions, and recognized and pertinent site and blog linking.

What really changed everything was when Google started to support social media in 2010 with connections to twitter, bookmarking, author reputation. This had a major affect on how Google ranks blogs and websites in its algorithm. The other big game changer was Google’s realtime search, making every search as relevant and fresh as a new blog post or status update on a social media site.

Now it is hard to know where to direct your traffic and create an online presence for your brand. Do you send it to your social pages? Your website? How do generate a substantial online buzz and where is the best place for your brand to flourish?

With all the advancements in technology make it easy for Internet marketers to manage their content with blog tools. Its no wonder systems like WordPress are growing in popularity, with their user friendly tools. WordPress is easy to use that a novice can upload written content, images and video and link images to other sites. It is a great tool to manage your brand’s online presence.

Here are some ways you can increase your SEO rank with social media:

1. Identify Who You Are

The most important thing to remember is that everyone on your team must be on the same page. All the content you use for your brand must be consistent. Your social media optimization/search engine optimization strategy must be unified as a team. A unified brand message will increase your visibility throughout all content and channels.

2. Learn what Keywords Describe Your Brand

In order to create a successful strategy to take your brand up in ranking you must rethink how you choose your keywords. You need to focus less on your search visibility in comparison to your competition and more on finding keywords that truly describe your brand.

To find your keywords ask yourself

What is your brand’s value proposition?

What you want your audience to say about you?

What incentives can we offer our audience?

What can we do to be the leaders in our industry?

What will make people follow us?

3. Develop a Plan of Action

After you have come up with your keywords, you must come up with a plan on how to use them so you can measure how effective they are. Your plan should focus on the type of content you use and how often like a weekly webinar production and planned outreach per social channel and media (social) buys/ads with effective messaging and resulting goals.

4. Stick To The SEO Basics

Before you turn to social media to drive traffic to your site, don’t forget the basic SEO tried and true tricks. After you have done the basics then you can start you social media campaign.

Don’t forget just like old school SEO methods, it is vital that social media optimization is consistent, authentic, managed daily and measured for success.

Google recently announced that they will be changing their search algorithm to stop websites that were allowing their users to access pirated content. This is a response to the years of criticism Google has received from the entertainment industry. The new algorithm will knock material that is suspected of being pirated down in the search results.

According to Amit Singhal, Google’s senior vice president of engineering, their new system will use “removable notices,” or complaints from entertainment companies, that a website has received in the search results. The new data point is being added to the approximately 200 other factors Google considers during search queries. As a result of this new system, websites that offer their users content that they can access and download legally will have higher ranking in the search engines than those that promote pirated content.

Amit Singhal said that this new algorithm should make it easier for Google users to find legal, high quality sources for their content. He said that Google is focusing on lowering the amount of copyright infringement of content on the Internet.

While Michael O’Leary, the senior executive president of the Motion Picture Association of America said “We are optimistic that Google’s actions will help steer consumers to the myriad legitimate ways for them to access movies and TV shows online,” he also said that they will be keeping a close eye on the development of Google’s new system.

This seems like a strategic move on Google’s part to reconcile and differences they have had with The Entertainment Industry so they can open up their own content in the Google Play marketplace.

Singhal said that, “Since we re-booted our copyright removals over two years ago, we’ve been given much more data by copyright owners about infringing content online,” he wrote. “In fact, we’re now receiving and processing more copyright removal notices every day than we did in all of 2009 — more than 4.3 million URLs in the last 30 days alone.”

While lower rankings do not necessarily mean that represent that a copyright has actually been violated, Google has received 4.3 million copyright removal notices in the last 30 days. According to Singhal, this new algorithm will affect the ranking of some search results, Google will not be removing any pages from search results unless they receive a valid copyright removal notice from the rights owner..

Singhal added that Google will continue to campaign against copyright infringement and try to offer uploaders a method to protest a content removal.
